My name is Ivan Idris. I hold a degree in Experimental Physics and several certifications. My graduation thesis had a strong emphasis on Applied Computer Science. After graduating I worked for several companies as Java developer, Datawarehouse developer and Test Analist.

Technologies that I am interested in and have encountered include C(++), Fortran, PowerMart, JSP, Servlets, Perl, CGI, Linux/Unix, PHP, MySQL, XHTML, Javascript, XML, XSLT, Visual Basic, Visual C++, DoJa, J2ME to mention a few.

I have published a few articles and one book NumPy Beginner's Guide, given training in Java programming and had my programming skills acknowledged in a programming contest. In any case I am always interested in new challenges and expanding my expertise.
